Our dental team is happy to help our patients schedule regular check-ups with Dr. Josh Muir and Dr. Jeff Tulett. While this is a great way to avoid dental disease and treat existing conditions, in an accident there may be no way to prevent damage to a patient’s smile. If you are in need of immediate care, look to our dentists at Hardin Family Dental.
We provide emergency dental services in Hardin, Montana, for patients that need to see a dentist outside of regular office hours. Our team stresses the importance of knowing what to do during a dental emergency. There are a few things that you can do at home to minimize damage before you come in to our office. Keep in mind that in any dental emergency, it is imperative that you visit our dentists as soon as possible.
If a tooth is knocked out, carefully rinse it off in water. Do not scrub the tooth or remove any tissue fragments. Bring the tooth with you when you see our dentists. You can keep the tooth in a cup of milk to keep it moist. If you break a tooth, rinse your mouth with warm water. Save the tooth fragments and bring them with you to our office. For a toothache, rinse your mouth with warm water, floss the area gently and use a cold compress to reduce any swelling.
Please contact our office at 406-629-3070 immediately if you experience a dental emergency. We are dedicated to providing you with outstanding dental care.
